Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs Committee (GAC) guides the public affairs decision-making of ACEC Houston and serves as its Political Action Committee (PAC), which is supported by members through contributions above their regular ACEC dues. The GAC works to develop and influence public policies in the Houston area that have a direct impact on chapter member firms. It evaluates policies, issues, and programs; meets with candidates and elected officials; and the PAC contributes to those that are supportive of the overall views and goals of the engineering community.
